Students will demonstrate their understanding of the following concepts: acquiring spatial data, pre-and post-processing of spatial data, using Excel to visually represent spatial data. Students will be given instructions to acquire geospatial data for the state of Indiana. They can choose any aspect of interest that include (but is not limited to): agricultural, census, medical, educational, socio-economic, business, entertainment, etc. and use geospatial tools to visualize the data. Students will create a short story supported by their visualization. [Datasets] |
